Request an absentee ballot at The deadline to request an absentee ballot is 5:00 p.m. on April 2. Your completed ballot must be received by your municipal clerk no later than 8:00 p.m. on Election Day, April 7. The postal service recommends mailing your ballot 7 days in advance. The City of Milwaukee has 5 locations where you can drop-off your completed absentee ballot.
